# Voice Mode

Talk with the agent and hear its replies in the current Job.

## Start and control a session

Choose the microphone in the message box. Voice Mode listens to you, sends your message, reads the answer aloud, and listens again. Stop voice ends the session. Skip answer stops only the current reply and keeps Voice Mode open.

### A live session above the composer

**Context:** Voice Mode in a Job

The composer microphone toggles Voice Mode. The HUD sits above the composer while the same Job retains the text and voice history.

- **Composer microphone** [active]: Toggle Voice Mode
- **Voice HUD** [ready]: Live session surface above the composer
- **Job history** [ready]: Text and voice remain together

## States

- Starting prepares the microphone. Listening shows the sound level and words detected so far.
- Thinking means the agent is preparing a reply. Speaking reads the reply aloud, then Voice Mode listens again.
- An error stops the Voice session. Fix the problem, then start Voice Mode again.

## Availability

Voice Mode needs microphone permission. From another device, it works only through a secure HTTPS Tunnel or on localhost. It does not work over an insecure remote HTTP connection.

## Voice Mode and Dictation

Voice Mode holds a spoken conversation and reads replies aloud. Dictation only types your speech into the message box, where you can edit it before sending.
