Spaces
A Space keeps one area of work separate, with its own instructions, memory, tools, access rules, and Job settings.
What a Space owns
Every Job belongs to one Space. The Space provides the instructions, memory, Skills, Scripts, Apps, default model, tools, and access rules those Jobs can use.
General and dedicated Spaces
General stores resources you may want to share. Every other Space is separate and can use those resources only when you allow it.
Instructions
Instructions work like a system prompt for the Space: every Job in it should follow them. Use them for the Space’s purpose, file locations, terminology, and project-specific rules.
Who can start work here
Use Accept work from to choose what may start a Job in this Space, such as another Space, an App, a Script, or an Automation. The sender can provide instructions for the new Job, but it cannot browse this Space’s files, memory, or earlier Jobs.
New Job defaults
Choose the starting settings for new Jobs: Standard, Open, Private, or Custom. These presets control access to resources, memory, history, tools, models, and commands. Changing one Job does not change the Space default for future Jobs.
Always-loaded tools
Always-loaded tools are shown to the model on every turn. Keep only commonly used tools there, because the model can read only a limited amount at once. The agent can find other tools when needed.
