One step before the first open

The Preview isn’t notarised yet: it’s with Apple for review, and they’re taking their time. Until it’s through, macOS blocks it the first time. Clearing that takes a few seconds, once.

  1. Open the downloaded file and drag TurnPanel onto Applications.
  2. Open Terminal and run this:
    Terminal
    $ xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/TurnPanel.app
  3. Open TurnPanel from Applications as usual.

Rather not use Terminal? Try to open TurnPanel once, then go to System Settings, Privacy & Security, and choose Open Anyway.

Apps

An App is a small local interface for work you return to, such as a tracker or dashboard.

When to use an App

Use an App when you want to view or update saved information through an interface. Use a Job for one-time work and an Automation for work that should run on its own.

How Apps run

TurnPanel draws the App from its declared views. Each action starts fresh, so anything the App must remember belongs in turnpanel.storage. Access to websites, tools, files, agents, shared data, links, and secrets must be requested separately.

Manage access

  • Open Manage to see what the App can access, which permissions you granted, any required credentials, and recent activity.
Manage appReview and revoke App access
Allowed toDeclared permission, risk, reason, and boundaryactive
    Allowed · BlockedPer-permission grant controlready
Pin to rail · Turn offVisibility and enabled-state controlsready
The App management panel groups access, credentials, history, and lifecycle controls.
  • From Manage, you can disable, move, update, or uninstall the App, and remove permissions it no longer needs.
