Memory
Facts and preferences a Space can remember across Jobs. Memory is separate from chat history and model choice.
Memory is files
- Each Space keeps its memory as plain files: a MEMORY.md index with one line per memory, and one short file per memory.MEMORY.mdThe index every Job seesactiveOne file per memoryAbout you · preference · project · referenceready
Each Space's memory folder holds MEMORY.md, one line per memory, and a short file for each memory. - Every Job in the Space sees the index. The agent opens a memory file or searches the folder when it needs the detail.IndexIn every Job from the startactiveMemory filesOpened or searched when neededreadyArchivedKept, not in the indexready
A Job starts with the index and opens or searches memory files when it needs more. - Past Job conversations are stored separately from memory.
Who keeps it
The agent saves, updates, and deletes memories itself while it works, whether the Job runs on the TurnPanel agent or a coding tool. Nothing is extracted in the background. Facts about you live in General; facts about one Space’s work stay in that Space.
Correcting memory
Tell the agent exactly what to remember or forget, or open Memory to edit, pin, or delete a memory. The files can also be edited in any text editor. Never store passwords or keys in memory: anything that looks like a secret is moved out of the folder and the Job is told.
Limits
The agent decides what is worth keeping, so it can miss a fact or keep one that later turns out wrong. Treat memory as helpful context, not proof. Memory files stay on your computer; whether the index is sent to an online model is a separate setting.
